Council has one sewerage treatment plant and two community effluent disposal systems. Council maintains the systems and all relating infrastructure.
Council responsibilities include:
- Source and deliver treated water to residents and businesses
- Collect, treat and dispose of sewage and trade waste
- Operate sewage treatment plants and pumping stations
- Maintain water supply and sewerage infrastructure and assets
Council also provides information for residents and businesses in relation to:
- Water leaks, meters, and usage
- Problems with water taste and discolouration
- Recycled water
