Are you looking to deepen your children's understanding of cultural ways this September school holidays? Whether you are indigneous or non-indigenous, Longreach families are invited to enjoy a few days camping out together as a family in the Betoota to Windorah area. Join the Mithaka traditional owners, exploring the landscape of the channel country and give yourself and the kids some time-out from the screens. Activities include fishing, birdwatching and swimming in beautiful waterways, visiting areas rich in archeology, harvesting grain the traditional way, and of course, sharing meals and storytelling under the stars.
