Longreach Water Mains Cleaning

All Longreach residents should have received a letter with information in regard to the “Water Mains Air Scouring” between 3 March and 17 March.

In the days leading up to the scheduled work, the contractor will conduct a door knock and inform you about the date and time the work is taking place close to your premises.

From our experience, there are only slight interruptions to the water supply expected while the work is carried out near your location. Slight interruptions could be a drop in water pressure or no water for a few minutes.
